Polícia vyvracia tvrdenia ruského veľvyslanectva týkajúce sa cintorína cisárskych vojakov
Bratislava 16. septembra (TASR) – Polícia upozorňuje na informácie o zničení cintorína vojakov Ruskej cárskej armády v obci Ladomirová v Prešovskom kraji, ktoré šíri ruské veľvyslanectvo na Slovensku. Označila ich za hoax.
Polícia vysvetlila, že veľvyslanectvo zverejnilo na Facebooku status o nedávnej návšteve ruského veľvyslanca na Slovensku Igora Bratčikova na cintoríne, v ktorom tvrdí, že hroby vojakov „zrovnal so zemou bager“ na príkaz Ladomirovej primátora Vladislava Cupera. Veľvyslanectvo v tomto zmysle tvrdilo, že v súvislosti s údajným incidentom posiela diplomatickú nótu Ministerstvu zahraničných vecí SR.
“Veľvyslanec Ruskej federácie na Slovensku Igor Bratčikov klame ohľadom situácie na cintoríne vojakov Ruskej cárskej armády v obci Ladomirová v Prešovskom kraji. Vďaka absolútnym klamstvám vystavil starostu obce Ladomirová vyhrážkam, ako ho niekto zavraždí,” uviedla polícia na sociálnej sieti Facebooku. Ruská ambasáda zverejnila, že hroby dal starosta bagrom zrovnať so zemou, a že preto posiela diplomatickú nótu slovenskému rezortu diplomacie.
Starosta obce medzitým odmietol tvrdenia veľvyslanectva. “Ide o nepravdivú informáciu. Hroby naďalej zostali na svojich miestach. Podotýkame, že pri hroboch boli betónové obrubníky, ktoré sa rozpadávali a nebola možná ich údržba. Obec Ladomirová ako správca uvedeného cintorína robí všetko preto, aby tento cintorín skutočne vyzeral ako krásne pietne miesto pre zosnulých vojakov Ruskej federácie a návštevníkov, ktorí tento cintorín navštevujú.” reagoval starosta Vladislav Cuper na webe obce s tým, že sa snažia aj o jeho obnovu.
Starostu mrzí spôsob, akým sa problém medializoval, keďže šíri nenávisť medzi ľuďmi. Zaznamenal rôzne vyhrážky, ktoré bude riešiť. “Starosta obce od včera dostáva výhražné maily, v ktorých majú byť aj vyhrážky smrťou. V tejto súvislosti mu bola odporučená návšteva najbližšieho policajného oddelenia. Situáciu monitorujeme, viac informácií k tejto súvislosti zatiaľ nebudeme poskytovať,” doplnili policajti.
Generálny prokurátor chce situáciu s cintorínom preveriť. “Po rozsiahlej generálnej rekonštrukcii vykonanej v roku 2014 bol vojnový cintorín obnovený, k starostlivosti o stav a udržiavanie hrobov vojakov však neznámy páchateľ pristúpil hanebným a neakceptovateľným spôsobom, ktorý nemôže zo strany orgánov činných v trestnom konaní ostať nepovšimnutý,” napísal Žilinka na sociálnej sieti. Konanie označil za hodné morálneho odsúdenia. Avizoval, že bude predmetom prešetrenia, či “bezohľadným zásahom” do hrobových miest, v ktorých sú pochovaní vojaci, nedošlo k naplneniu znakov trestného činu hanobenia miesta posledného odpočinku
Police Debunk Russian Embassy’s Claims Regarding Cemetery of Imperial Soldiers
Bratislava, September 16 (TASR) – The police on Friday pointed to information that is being spread by the Russian embassy in Slovakia regarding the cemetery of Imperial Russian Army soldiers in the village of Ladomirová in the Prešov region, calling it a hoax.
The police explained that the embassy has released a post on Facebook about a recent visit of Russian Ambassador to Slovakia Igor Bratchikov to the cemetery, claiming that the graves of the soldiers have been “razed to the ground by an excavator” at the behest of Ladomirová mayor Vladislav Cuper. In this vein, the embassy claimed that it was sending a diplomatic note to the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry over the alleged incident.
“The Russian Ambassador to Slovakia Igor Bratchikov is lying about the situation at the cemetery of Imperial Russian Army soldiers in the village of Ladomirová in the Prešov region, exposing the Ladomirová mayor to death threats,” police said on their Facebook account. The Russian embassy disclosed that the mayor had the graves razed to the ground by an excavator and that it was therefore sending a diplomatic note to the Slovak diplomatic service.
Meanwhile, the village mayor has also denied the embassy’s claims. “This is false information. The graves have remained in their places. It should be noted that the graves had concrete curbs which were falling apart and could not be maintained. The village of Ladomirová, as the administrator of the cemetery, has been doing its utmost to ensure that the cemetery looks like a well-kept memorial site for the deceased soldiers of the Russian Federation and visitors,” Cuper stated on the official website of Ladomirová, explaining that the village has actually been trying to renovate the site.
The mayor regrets the way the issue has been publicized in the media as it spreads hatred among the people. He has noted various threats which he will address. “The mayor of the village has been receiving threatening mails since yesterday, which are said to include death threats. He has been advised to visit the nearest police department in this regard. We are monitoring the situation, we will not provide more information in this regard for the time being,” the police added. According to the police, the mayor has been advised to visit the nearest police station. “We are monitoring the situation. The Prosecutor General wants to investigate the situation with the cemetery. “After an extensive overhaul carried out in 2014, the war cemetery was restored, but an unknown perpetrator has left the care of the condition and maintenance of the graves of soldiers in a shameful and unacceptable manner that cannot go unnoticed by law enforcement authorities,” Žilinka wrote on the social network. He described the conduct as worthy of moral condemnation. He announced that it would be investigated whether the “reckless interference” in the grave sites where soldiers are buried did not amount to a crime of defamation of a final resting place.
