Branch 746 members volunteer for Easter Baking Fundraiser
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, members of Branch 746 generously volunteered their time and talents for the Fraternalism in Action Easter koláče baking fundraiser for Holy Family Church in Linden, NJ. Throughout the day, they prepared traditional poppyseed, lekvár (prune jam), cheese, and nut koláče as part of this long-standing fundraiser supporting the Slovak church and preserving this tradition dating back to its founding more than 65 years ago. In recognition of this initiative, a $250 Fraternalism in Action check from the FCSU Home Office will be presented to Administrator Fr. Tadeusz Mierzwa by Region 1 Director, Sabina Sabados, in support of this ongoing activity.
A heartfelt thank you to all Jednota Branch 746 members who generously volunteered and led the baking efforts including Julie Rada, a long-time branch member and one of the main organizers of this fundraiser. Our branch is proud to contribute to this cherished community tradition.
