Branch 721, Bannister, MI, met on April 12, 2026, and members came together to support two important local charities: the Elsie Baby Pantry and the Elsie Area Food Pantry. Members were asked to bring donations for both organizations, and their generosity was evident through the many baby supplies and non-perishable food items collected.
The Elsie Baby Pantry provides new and gently used clothing, diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, toiletries, quilts, shoes, toys, books, and many other essentials free of charge to families with young children. The Elsie Area Food Pantry assists individuals and families in need who meet federally set income guidelines for the Emergency Food Assistance Program, including those eligible for free or reduced school lunches and residents living within 10 miles of the pantry.
Through participation in the Fraternalism in Action Program, Branch 721 qualified for a $250 donation from FCSU to support these local pantries. This generous program helps branches extend their charitable outreach and provide meaningful assistance to those facing daily challenges.
Branch 721 members were grateful for the opportunity to help neighbors in need and to live out the values of faith, compassion, and service taught by Our Lord. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,” reminding us of the importance of caring for families and sharing blessings with others. Branch 721 thanks FCSU for supporting efforts that strengthen local communities and provide hope to those who need it most.
