Thanks to the incredible generosity of Branch 553 and District 10 members, donations came pouring in. They gathered hundreds of baby-related items – including diapers, layettes, bibs, blankets, and more. Patty Minrovic, president of The Christ Child Society of Akron and a member of 553, was deeply touched by the outpouring of support. Along with the donated items, District 10 President, Greg Petrasek and Branch 553 President, Debbie Speck, and National President, Ken Arendt, also presented two $250.00 checks to the organization on behalf of the FCSU FIA program. The Christ Child Society of Akron is a nonprofit committed to serving children in need.
