As part of the program, FCSU Financial Executive Secretary Kevin Collins addressed attendees, offering inspiring remarks on the organization’s 135-year history of serving Slovak families through faith, fraternalism, and financial security. He emphasized the enduring importance of unity among Slovaks at home and abroad and highlighted FCSU’s commitment to helping future generations thrive through scholarships, community support, and sound financial planning.
The Slovak PRO Summit 2025 brought together a vibrant and diverse mix of Slovak professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, innovators, and community leaders from across the globe.
More than 200 participants from the United States, Canada, and Slovakia came together with one shared goal: to connect, collaborate, and contribute to a stronger global Slovak presence.
Throughout the full-day program, attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions, insightful presentations, and meaningful conversations that transcended borders and professions. Whether in formal panels or informal networking sessions, one message rang clear: the Slovak diaspora is not only active but also deeply invested in shaping the future of Slovakia and its role in the international community.
The Summit was further elevated by the participation of high-level Slovak government officials. The President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, honored the event with his presence, bringing with him a message of support and recognition for Slovaks living abroad. Minister of Education Tomáš Drucker also participated in the program, highlighting the importance of investing in knowledge, talent, and innovation. Later, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanár joined the gathering, reinforcing the role of the Slovak diaspora as a strategic partner in Slovakia’s global outreach and diplomacy. The Consulate General of the Slovak Republic and Slovak Embassy also proudly supported this visionary initiative, which unites the global Slovak PRO community and amplifies Slovakia’s voice on the international stage. Their presence sent a powerful signal: that the Slovak government values the voices and contributions of its citizens abroad and sees the diaspora as a vital extension of Slovakia’s diplomatic, cultural, and economic engagement with the world.
Yet beyond the presentations and speeches, it was the human element that truly made the Slovak PRO Summit exceptional. The energy in the room was one of solidarity, pride, and momentum. Many participants remarked on the unique atmosphere—one where collaboration felt natural, where experiences were shared openly, and where a shared sense of purpose was evident.
