Create your WINNING costume based on a real or fictional character or develop a unique, original concept.

#3 Family/Group with a Unified Theme
Contest Rules:
- The competition is open to all ages. All persons in the photographs must be FCSU members.
- Duo/couple entries must include two members. Family/group entries must include at least three members.
- Maximum of three entries per member, as an individual, duo and group. No duplicate entries within a category will be accepted. Limit of one prize awarded per member.
- Costumes may be based on real life, fiction, or an original subject.
- Costumes are to be handmade or homemade. Purchased or rented costumes do not qualify.
- Make-up, face painting, and wigs allowed. Props and accessories that are not a main component of the costume may be store bought.
- Photos are to be original without excessive editing, including Photoshop, AI or special effects.
- Please keep the contest Family Friendly. Questionable, graphic, violent, political, or offensive content will result in disqualification.
Prizes:
- 18 Cash Prizes will be awarded in six categories as shown below. Prize money checks will be issued to the member who submitted the entry.
- All costumes will be judged on Effort, Craftsmanship, and either Creativity/Originality or the Realistic/Accurate Representation of the character(s).
- Prize winning entries may be published in the Jednota newspaper, social media and on our website at fcsu.com.
