FCSU, GCU, NSS & SCS Combined National Bowling Tournament
The First Catholic Slovak Union, GCU, NSS Life & Slovak Catholic Sokol Joint Bowling Tournament is fast approaching and we are pleased to offer you the following details:
Bowling… All bowling will take place at Brookgate Lanes located at 14950 Snow Road, Brook Park, OH 44142. The phone number is (216) 676-4325 and website is:

Hotel… The Cleveland Airport Marriott Hotel located at 4277 West 150th Street, Cleveland, OH 44135 will be the location for the banquet and also has guest rooms available for $99/night + tax for Thursday thru Saturday nights. 4-Bowler Teams… The format will again be 4-Bowler Teams, and team members may combine and send only one application if all fees are included. If bowlers are unable to fill all 4 positions on a team, we will assist you.
Squad Time Assignments… There will be two squad times each for the team and doubles & singles events. Team bowling will take place on Friday, May 15 at 5:30PM & 8PM. The doubles & singles squads are scheduled for Saturday, May 16 at 9 AM & 12:30PM.
Friday Evening Hospitality… All bowlers (and pre-paid guests) are welcome to join in for food and fraternalism on Friday, May 17. The hospitality buffet will be served at Brookgate Lanes beginning at 7PM for the 8:30PM squad and will be refreshed as the 5:30PM squad finishes their bowling.
Saturday Evening Banquet… In the interest of fraternal camaraderie and to celebrate the FCSU, GCU, NSS & SCS Combined National Bowling Tournament, a celebratory dinner for bowlers and their guests will take place on Saturday evening May 16 at the Cleveland Airport Marriott Hotel. The evening will include a plated dinner (includes: Market Salad: mixed greens, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, croutons, and white balsamic dressing; choice of Parmesan Herb Chicken Breast with Tomato Jam, 6oz Sirloin Filet with Cabernet Sauce or Seared Salmon with Warm Tomato Compote; Garlic Mashed Potatoes; Sautéed Seasonal Vegetables and Dessert) and 2 complimentary drinks (house wine or domestic beer) per attendee. FCSU bowlers are free but must complete the enclosed Hospitality Questionnaire form if they plan to attend the dinner. There is also a space to register any guests that will accompany bowlers for the dinner. Guests are welcome at a fee of $55 per guest. Payment must accompany requests.
Food & Beverage Reservations… Must be made in advance so we can be precise in our attendance guarantees. We have enclosed a Hospitality Questionnaire to complete and return with your application and sent to FCSU Fraternal Activities Director Kevin Collins address on the application form no later than April 13, 2020. This will enable us to prepare for the proper number of attendees.
Additional Actual Prize Money… In an effort to increase participation from higher average bowlers, an additional $1,000 has now been pledged to pay actual score prizes across all tournament events. This will not have any effect on the handicap prizes which will continue to be paid as in the past.
