All meetings and events are held at the Slovak J Club, 485 Morgan Ave., Akron. RSVP to 330-786-9972 when requested.
November 8 – We will hold our year end meeting at 2pm where we will hold the Election of Officers for 2027. The following positions are open: President, Vice-President, Financial Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer & Trustee (Auditor). Please give your letter of intent to run for a position to Linda Hanko at the club or email to lhanko@neo.rr.com by Monday, November 2. Please RSVP for luncheon reservations.
FRATERNALISM IN ACTION – We are collecting children’s books for Bright Star Books. We are asking our members to bring new or like new books for ages infant to middle school. Bright Star Books distributes them to limited-resource children in the Greater Akron region so these kiddos can discover the joy of reading.
December 5 – Children’s Christmas Party – 1pm – Bowling with Santa
December 13 – Annual Vilija (Christmas) Dinner – 4pm – Ethnic food, music & fellowship!!
