November 7, 2026 – We are offering discounted tickets to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Lúčina Slovak Folklore Ensemble taking place at 5:30pm at Pokrova Hall, 6812 Broadview Rd., Parma. The night will be filled with a variety of entertainment including Harmonia featuring Beata & Alex Fedoriouk, a fujara solo by Mike Anderko and performances by the Lúčina Slovak Folklore Ensemble dancers!  Branch 24 members must purchase their ticket in advance, at full price, online at tinyurl.com/lucinas45. The tickets are tiered pricing at $60/$65/$75.  We will subsidize the cost of your ticket so that your final cost is $24*.  Reimbursement will take place when you check in at the gala. Member priced tickets are non-transferrable. *Please note there is an option to pay a Zeffy processing fee but it is not required to pay. The branch will not reimburse this fee.

November 22, 2026 – Branch 24 will be hosting a meeting at St. Thomas More parish in Utopia Hall at 1pm. The address is 4180 N Amber Dr. Brooklyn, OH, and the Utopia Hall entrance is attached to the school. We will hold the Election of Officers for 2027. A light lunch will be provided. Please contact Fraternal Activities Director Fran Strekal (216-308-1728) to RSVP. Contact Secretary Anna Gibson (216-272-4657) if you intend to run for office.

FRATERNALISM IN ACTION: We are having a Thanksgiving food drive! We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Brooklyn Heights Food Pantry (Project Hope). When you make a donation, you will be entered into our Door Prize Raffle.

December 6, 2026 – St. Andrew Abbey in conjunction with the Cleveland Slovak Radio Club will be hosting a Vilija (traditional Slovak Christmas Eve Supper) at 10510 Buckeye Rd, Cleveland beginning with Mass at noon.  Branch 24 is again providing special members only pricing for the St. Andrew Abbey Vilija Dinner on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at Benedictine High School in Cleveland, Ohio.  Branch 24 members may purchase a Vilija dinner at the full price of $25 and will be reimbursed $21 at the event. This special discount price of $4 is for Branch 24 members only.  It is non-transferable and may not be used for carryout orders. The regular cost per dinner is $25 and may be purchased at this price for non-members.  Reservations are required. Call or text Fran Strekal, Branch 24 Fraternal Activities Director, at 216-308-1728. Make checks payable to Branch 24 FCSU. The deadline for ordering your meals from Branch 24 (for members and non-members) is Friday, November 20. This is a very popular event in the Cleveland area with limited seating. Get your tickets ordered early!

Attention all Branch 24 members: the branch is starting a New Member Referral Program.

Branch 24 is offering $25 for each new member you refer who purchases an insurance policy or annuity through a licensed agent or the Home Office. A new member is someone who does not already own an FCSU product.
