At the first anniversary of the policy, the Annuitant has 15 days to elect an option:

- Continue the Annuity for an additional five years. The interest rate at the time will be based on the interest rate established by the Society on the regular Flexible Premium Deferred Annuity. This rate is published in the official publication and on our website.
- If the policy is continued, the Annuitant may withdraw up to 10% of the policy's cash value at the beginning of each policy year, without incurring a surrender charge. (Early withdrawals may be subject to IRS penalties).
- If the policy is continued, withdrawals that exceed 10% of the policy's cash value will incur a surrender charge of 5% in the second year and withdrawal charges will decrease by 1% each year until the end of the sixth year from the issue date.
